Summerset’s Nationwide Open Day is on Sunday 6 April, 10am - 2pm.
All 37 of our villages are open, so if you’re curious about retirement village living, don’t wonder, come have a wander.

What to expect and answers to your questions
Do I need to register in advance, or can I just show up?
There is no need to register, just pop along anytime between 10am – 2pm.
If you can’t make the Open Day but would like to organise a private appointment at a time that suits you, please get in touch with the sales manager of the village of interest to you.
Can I bring people with me to the Open Day?
Yes, of course! We encourage you to bring your family or friends. It’s always great to have a second opinion (or just some good company for the day).
Where do I park?
Most villages will have parking on-site. Just follow the signs when you arrive, and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Will there be guided tours, or can I explore at my own pace?
We’ll have team members there to show you around, but if you’d prefer to wander at your own pace, go for it! It’s all about making yourself comfortable and getting a feel for what life at Summerset is like.
Can I take brochures or information home to review later?
Absolutely! We will have information brochures and goodies available for you to take home on the day.
Make sure you look out for your copy of our Summerset Scene magazine, it's packed with interesting stories from villages and residents around New Zealand as well as delicious recipes, puzzles and more.
Will there be staff available to answer my questions?
Yes! Our sales team are will be available on the day to answer any of your questions.
If for any reason we don’t get a chance to speak with you personally, we’ll be sure to follow up with a friendly call in the coming days to answer any questions you may have.
Our residents are also a great resource to answer any questions about day-to-day village life, facilities and activities.
Will I be able to talk to current residents about their experiences at the village?
Of course! Our residents love to share their experiences (and maybe even a few good stories). They’re the best people to ask about what Summerset life is really like.
